Santa took on his reindeers in the most festive korfball game of the year.

On Saturday (29 November), between 12pm and 3pm, Christ’s Pieces was transformed into an outdoor winter korfball pitch with eight inflatable santas playing against eight reindeers to decide on North Pole korfball supremacy.

Cambridge City Korfball Club (CCKC) hosted the event, and was joined by the Cambridge City Juniors and Cambridge City Tykes.

Team santa proved it was a bunch of hot air, being beaten 13-10 by the reindeers, who got their revenge on St Nick.

It was a fabulous, if chilly day out, but we beat off the weather with mulled wine and mince pies!
