A good win for City 3. City 3 got off to a measured start with good defence. Bayley started things off with an excellent long shot before Gavin made it 2-0 with a drop-off. Vikings quickly made it 2-1 before Acting Captain Dave made it 3-1 with a drop-off. Gavin got his second close to the post to make the half-time score 4-1. Bayley converted a free pass to make it 5-1 before Vikings got on back to make it 5-2. Jenni scored a mid range shot and Pieter made it 7-2 with a shot under the post. Vikings made it 7-3 before Dave scored another drop-off to make it 8-3. Vikings got the last goal but it was still a clear win for City 3. Bayley was player of the match.
