City started well with some strong passing to create the first goal; Aggie with a long shot(1-0). Vikings equalised (1-1) and uses aggressive defending to stop City, but Bayley then scored a long shot (2-1). Again Vikings scored (2-2), and after a long period Yan finishes a short shot under the post after some confusion by Vikings. The opposition pull level again (3-3) and only near the end of the first half did City pull clear with great running in shot by Gavin and Bayley after Alex had missing a penalty (5-3)

Vikings got two quick goals at the start of the second half (5-5). Jenni then sunk a running in shot to edge City back in the lead again(6-5). Vikings then levelled the score for the last time (6-6), and made a substitution, which then helped City control the game more effectively, with 4 more goals from Clare (long), Dave (running-in), Gavin (long) and finally Alex with a penalty(10-6). A good performance with the whole team scoring! City stayed focused and did not panic at 6-6.
