City 3 started well against an inexperienced Uni team. Caroline scored first with a running in shot. This was assisted by Alex who then made it 2-0 with a long shot. City found it difficult to control the pace of the game, as Uni were always quick to the ball, but our defence was strong, denying Uni of any goals. Bayley and Rose both scored a running in shot before half time (4-0).

In the second half, City created more sustained attacks, but still came second to any loose balls. Alex got his second with a long shot from the side (5-0), Gavin made it six with a running in shot. Pieter then scored a long shot and to finish off Rose made it 8-0 with a mid-range shot. Overall a solid performance to build on, surviving a late night fixture against a young, nimble opposite.
